Říká se, že pravidla se nemají měnit za pochodu. Naše soutěž je však bezprecedentně první svého druhu s pravidly nevymezenými. Účelem je vytvořit rozumný řád, zabránit nespravedlivostem u soutěže a připravit pravidla pro příští rok
1) Účast v prvním kole. Z dvaceti přihlášených někteří svůj stroj už dokončují, jiní jsou ve značném skluzu a možná jsou i tací, kteří z nějakého důvodu ještě nezačali. V prvním kole (26.2.07 v 10.00 uč. KOM) jsou vítáni všichni. Ti, kteří nebudou mít svůj motorek dokončený budou moci si o problémech popovídat, uvidí, že co byl nepřekonatelný problém je vlastně maličkost, běžící motorky jim dají novou motivaci, dokončí své velké dílo a ve druhém kole (26.3.07.tamtéž) mohou třeba i zvítězit. Spravedlnost je v tom, že ti z prvního kola budou mít měsíc času na vylepšování.
2) Objem plechovky. Kvůli několika nepozorným zdůrazňuji, že musí být zachován rozměr komory (plechovky) Průměr D = 100 +/- 2mm a výška H = 62 +/- 2mm.
3) Chlazení motorku. Je jasné, že čím je nižší teplota studené strany – základové desky, tím je větší výkon a tím i otáčky. Na přímý dotaz: “Je možné udělat chlszení vodou tak, že voda bude přitékat z vodovodu a odtékat do umyvadla?” odpovídám takto: Toto řešení je nekoncepční, závislé na prostředí. To by taky někdo mohl u vlastní soutěže chladit základovou desku mokrým hadrem. Otáčky takto získané by byly nespravedlivé. Technické provedení by však mohlo být velice zajímavé a proto by odměna mohla být udělena v této kategorii.
Samozřejmě, koncepční, nezávislé chlazení vodou – to je výzva.
