VYROB SI SVŮJ STIRLINGŮV MOTOR

Jaký to je motor? – Před 170. léty, v době vzniku naší školy, výbušné spalovací motory neexistovaly. Těžkým strojům vládly parní motory, menší výkony byly zastoupeny teplovzdušnými motory, které vynalezl Skot Stirling v roce 1816.
Princip: Uzavřený objem vzduchu (plynu) je na jedné straně motoru ohříván, na druhé ochlazován. Přeháněcí píst přehání vzduch z jedné strany na druhou. Uvnitř motoru vzniká střídavě relativní přetlak a podtlak, které působí na pracovní píst. Ten pohání klikovou hřídel, od níž je odvozen i pohon přehaněče. Čím je větší teplotní rozdíl teplé a studené strany, tím větší je práce jednoho oběhu a tím i výkon motorku.
Teoretický oběh Stirlingova motoru tvoří dvě izotermy a dvě izochory a jeho účinnost je relativně vysoká. Využití tepla na vstupu je však nízké a proto je výkon motorku malý.
V dnešní době s propracovanou konstrukcí, vysokými teplotami a odolnými materiály Stirlingův motor začíná opět nacházet své uplatnění. Je též velmi perspektivní s příkonem obnovitelnými zdroji energie
Pravidla soutěže:
Soutěžící si z obdržených dílů sestaví Stirlingův motorek. Některé součásti ovšem musí být dokončeny. Kterákoliv z nich může být nahrazena jinou – vlastní. Musí být zachovány pouze dva parametry: Průměr komory – D = 100 +/- 2mm a výška komory H = 64 +/- 2 mm. To je zaručeno běžnou plechovkou od konzervy. Základním kriteriem při hodnocení jsou otáčky motoru. Budou měřeny bezdotykovým digitálním otáčkoměrem při stálém plameni plynového hořáku. Doma je možno motor zkoušet na nejmenším plynovém vařiči nastaveném na nejmenší plamen (plamen volte menší, než odpovídá bezpečnostnímu dorazu hořáku).
Při vlastní soutěži budou motorky postupně postaveny nad plamen. Po zahřátí a rozběhu (doba 2 min – pro všechny stejná) budou měřeny otáčky po dobu 60 s. Největší otáčky budou zaznamenány. Dále během soutěže budou ohodnoceny provedení a vzhled motorku (design) a také technické “zlepšováky”, které student vyrobí.
Soutěž proběhne ve dvou kolech v laboratořích KOM (na plynovém kahanu). První kolo bude ve čtvrtek 19.3.2009 v 9.00hod, druhé 30.4. 2009 ve stejnou dobu. (mezi koly bude čas na vylepšování). Hodnoceny budou lepší výsledky z obou kol.
